The Video Bible Institute is a self-paced video correspondence school with a curriculum emphasizing faithful, conservative Bible teaching.

We have sent out over 200,000 videos or DVDs to all 50 states and 113 other countries. WVBS material has been sent to 160 Bible schools.

We truly appreciate your interest in the work of World Video Bible School (WVBS). There are many ways you can help us. First and foremost is with your prayers. As God says in James 5:16b "The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much." Please include us in your prayers that the Lord will continue to bless this work as we do His good will.

Second, you can help us by viewing our materials. One of our primary purposes for existing is to provide materials that will help edify the body of believers. You can help us to do that by using our study materials to help you become grounded more firmly in God's rich word. After all, the problems we are seeing in the church would not exist if all the members were well versed in the Bible. We have every book of the Bible and about 90 other Bible related topics in our Catalog. So help yourself by allowing us to be the place you go when you are looking for sound Bible teaching materials.

Third, you can help us by referring others to WVBS for their Bible study needs. By telling your friends about us you are in fact helping to spread the Gospel. So please do not keep this treasure a secret!

WVBS is a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) corporation located in Maxwell, Texas. What this means is that you can send a contribution to help us continue this work and the whole amount is eligible to be deducted on your taxes. However there are many ways to give (please consult your tax consultant for more details).

• Overpay on your order. When you order material from us either online, by phone or mailed order form, you can write your check or other payment for more than the amount owed and the extra will be recorded as a donation.
• Monthly contributions. By giving to this work on a monthly basis you give us stability, which allows us to be able to meet the demands that are placed upon us. For example, about 28% of all the videotapes we produce are given to churches in countries outside the US for free. People in other parts of the world are literally starving for God's word. So your regular monthly gifts will go a long way in allowing us to continue this effort.
• Semi-annual contributions. We have many contributors who give to us through this means. Some give quarterly, others at different times during the year.
• Annual contributions. There are some who give to this work at the end of the year. If you give at the end of the year, you can claim your deduction on your taxes just a few months later. 
• Stocks and Bonds. If you knew you could reap double the tax benefit through charitable contributions would you believe it? It is true! You can do this by donating some of your investments rather than cash. Suppose you purchased stock for $3,000 several years ago and it is now worth $10,000. If you are in the 28% federal tax bracket, sold your stock and qualified for the 20% capital gains rate, you would owe $1,400 in taxes. If you donated that same stock to a nonprofit organization like WVBS, you would get the tax deduction for the full $10,000 market value. That would save $2,800 in taxes. If you added the $1,400 you avoided in capital gains tax, your total tax savings would be $4,200.
• By remembering us in your wills. We know this is a sensitive subject, but it is still one that we must consider. By including WVBS in your will, you will still be doing a good work after you have gone home.
• By referring a friend or loved one. If you know of anyone who would benefit from our wonderful Bible study materials, please submit their name(s) to us and we will take it from there. Once we have received your submission, we will send them our free catalog along with a recent copy of our newsletter, all on your behalf.  Please click here to go to the Contact page and submit their name.  Be sure to select "Send a Catalog to my Friend" as the SUBJECT and supply their name and mailing address in the MESSAGE.

• Junior high through adults can study the tapes in Bible classes.
• Members can check them out of the church's library for home study. This is especially good for those who are confined at home or in nursing homes. In addition, the library can be made available to other congregations-even the general public!
• Elders can use the tapes to increase their Bible knowledge, improve their ability to hold fast to the word, convict the gainsayer, and help ensure, through their study, that only sound doctrine is taught in their congregation.
• Preachers can study a subject before teaching it, or improve their understanding of special subjects like Greek, Logic, Christian Evidences, Homiletics, etc.
• Bible class teachers can prepare more in-depth studies for their classes. They can increase their own knowledge by studying the tapes at home, or improve their teaching technique by studying the Teacher's Improvement Seminar series.
• New converts, those recently restored, and others can study the course on Fundamentals to build a strong foundation on God's word and grow as Christians.
• Ladies can use the tapes for ladies' Bible classes.
• Small, remote, and military congregations can use the tapes to better train qualified teachers and to provide more in-depth Bible studies.
• Parents can use the tapes to teach their children in family Bible studies at home. This way, the family can study together, even on subjects the parents may not have had time or opportunity to learn themselves. Imagine the benefit gained by families taking 38 minutes each day to study a videotaped lesson on God's word!
• Preacher training schools, especially overseas, can use the tapes to prepare instructors or to actually do the teaching.
• Congregations can furnish tapes to help establish new preacher training schools overseas without incurring the vast financial burden of hiring a full staff of qualified instructors. Instead, they can purchase the fruit of qualified instructors on videotapes that can be viewed over and over for years to come.
• Churches of Christ in this country have used WVBS material to start night or weekend schools to encourage more in-depth study of God's word in the local church and area churches of Christ, to develop and strengthen leaders, to encourage those from the community to study the Bible, and to train men who cannot attend a full-time school of preaching.
• Evangelistic efforts can be enhanced by studying effective techniques from the tapes on Personal Evangelism. There are even video courses, such as Back To The Bible and Five Times Five, that will actually teach your prospect about the church and God's plan for their salvation!
